刚看到 Ribbon 时，我一直觉得有些眼熟，但是想不出为什么，后来有一次我看到了 Vista 的开始菜单，突然就知道了。先看看下面这张 Ribbon 的抓图和我们平时使用的 Vista 开始菜单：

如果我们把 Vista 的开始菜单拉到屏幕上方，就会变成这样：

他们在很大程度上是相似的。或者，如果我用 Photoshop 把 Ribbon 图片改一下，和开始菜单再做一次对比：

好一个相似的组合。不过在菜单项目上面还是有些差别，那么让我告诉你这些差别最终变成怎样，看看 Windows7 的菜单：

 

完美！所以如果以后 Office 的界面变成下面这样，我们也就没什么好吃惊的了：

I couldn’t explain why I felt familiar when I first saw the Ribbon Interface. Until one day, I was looking at the Vista Start Menu，and then suddently I saw the relationship between Ribbon and the Vista Start Menu. Let’s have a look at a screenshot of the two:

If we drag and drop the start menu to the top of screen, it becomes like this:

They look similar. Then I used Photoshop to change the Ribbon button to the bottom and now they look more like brothers:

What a similar combination! But obviously there’re still some differences between their menu items. Ok, now let’s have a look at Vista’s real brother. Hi, come here Seven!

 

Perfect! So if you see Mr.Ribbon 7 one day, don’t be surprise.
